While Ohio is known for its classic "buckeyes," the Sisinni peanut butter balls stood out for their unique flavor and became a local favorite. This candy-making legacy was passed down through the generations, including Erin, the founder of Peanut Butter Pig, and her son Colin.

Erin, the founder of Peanut Butter Pig, has been making Bacon Candy since her son was a toddler. In 2016, during the intense World Series matchup between the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians, the family hosted a big rivalry party.
At the party, Bacon Candy was served to guests—and it was a huge hit! Afterward, many asked for the treat to be included at their own events and neighborhood gatherings. The demand grew, and friends and family encouraged Erin to sell her Pig Bacon Candy, so even more people could enjoy the deliciousness.
Our company name, The Peanut Butter Pig is named after the family dog. Bruno. He is an English Bulldog that much resembles a pig, with peanut butter coloring.
And, no our bacon products do NOT contain peanuts unless of course you order the peanut brittle.
