
The Peanut Butter Pig emerged from a family food tradition of making chocolates. Since the early 1920’s the Sisinni family had made chocolates in Italy and then carried that tradition to Ohio. While traditional “buckeyes” were popular in Ohio, the Sisinni peanut butter balls were unique, tasty and very popular. These peanut butter balls were made with crunchy hand made peanut butter, fresh graham crackers, coconut and other ingredients.
In 2016, the Chicago Cubs played in the World Series against the Cleveland Indians. This was a big rival game in the house and the family held a World Series party. It was then that Pig Candy was offered to guests and after that many requested the treat for events and neighborhood parties. The treat was such a hit, friends and family encouraged that Pig Candy be sold so others could enjoy. It was then that the Peanut Butter Pig was born.
Erin (Peanut Butter Pig Founder) has been making treats ever since and now they are available for all to enjoy. She works with her mom and and of the kitchen.

Our Pig Candy is gluten free. It’s covered with our secret spice mix that is a bit savory and sweet at the same time.
